The Method of Praying the Rosary (According to the Order of Preachers)

In English:

Make the Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

: Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
: Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

: O Lord, open my lips.
: And my mouth shall declare Your praise.
: O God, incline unto my aid.
: O Lord, make haste to help me.

Say the “Glory Be”
: Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost.
: As it was in the beginning is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Alleluia.
(From Septuagesima to Easter, instead of "Alleluia" say "Praise to Thee, O Lord, King of eternal glory.")

Announce the First Mystery and then say the “Our Father.”

Pray 10 “Hail Marys” followed by the “Glory Be” and the “O My Jesus” prayer.

Announce the Second Mystery; then say the “Our Father” and repeat the above steps through the remaining 3 Mysteries.

Pray the "Hail Holy Queen"
Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve: to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus, O merciful, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Amen.

. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, pray for us.
. That we might be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Pray the "Final Prayer"
O God, whose only-begotten Son, by His life, death and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life; grant, we beseech Thee, that, meditating upon these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Make the Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

In Latin:

Make the Sign of the Cross
In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti. Amen.

Pray one "Ave Maria"
Áve María, grátia pléna, Dóminus técum. Benedícta tu in muliéribus, et benedíctus frúctus véntris túi, Iésus. Sáncta María, Máter Déi, óra pro nóbis peccatóribus, nunc et in hóra mórtis nóstrae. Amen.

: Domine, labia mea aperies.
: Et os meum annuntiabit laudem tuam.
: Deus, in adiutorium meum intende.
: Domine, ad adiuvandum me festina.

Say the "Gloria Patri"
Gloria Patri, et Filio, et Spiritui Sancto.
Sicut erat in principio, et nunc, et semper, et in saecula saeculorum. Amen.

Alleluia.
(From Septuagesima to Easter, instead of "Alleluia" say "Laus tibi, Domine, Rex aeternae gloriae.")

Announce the First Mystery and then say the “Pater Noster”

Pray 10 “Ave Maria” followed by the “Gloria Patri” and the “O mi Jesu” prayer.

Announce the Second Mystery; then say the “Pater Noster" and repeat the above steps through the remaining 3 Mysteries.

Pray the "Salve Regina"
Salve, Regina, Mater misericordiæ, vita, dulcedo, et spes nostra, salve. Ad te clamamus exsules filii Hevæ, Ad te suspiramus, gementes et flentes in hac lacrimarum valle. Eia, ergo, advocata nostra, illos tuos misericordes oculos ad nos converte; Et Jesum, benedictum fructum ventris tui, nobis post hoc exsilium ostende. O clemens, O pia, O dulcis Virgo Maria.

. Ora pro nobis, Regina sacratissimi rosarii.
. Ut digni efficiamur promissionibus Christi.

Pray the "Final Prayer"

Make the Sign of the Cross
