O Wonderful Hope, which thou gavest to those who wept for thee, at the hour of thy death, promising, after thy departure, to be helpful to thy brethren!

Indulgence:
The following indulgences have been granted to all members and tertiaries of the Dominican Order for the recitation of the above response.
1. An indulgence of 500 days each time, for everyday of the year.
2. A plenary indulgence, on the usual conditions, applicable to the dead, on any feast of Saint Dominic, viz: May 24, August 4, September 25, to those who have said it everyday for a year. (Leo XIII, Aug. 23, 1890)
